Bump It

Erykah Badu all the way back in '97 with then boyfriend André 3000. I love this video plus the song is bumping. It's something about Erykah Badu that I like. I find her attractive anyway, I think her soulful image wins me over.

KANYE WEST "Welcome To Heartbreak" Directed by Nabil from nabil elderkin on Vimeo.

You know Kanye West is always good when it comes to extremely creative videos. Unlike most artist Kanye West displays a lot of artistic images and scenes throughout most of his videos.

I like the concept of the video its creativity at its finest.

Food Duo

So... excues us for being absent from the blog recently a lot has been happening, but whatever.

Shadei and I went out this past weekend as we normally go out every weekend nothing new on that level. We went out to eat at Chilli's restuarant together. We had fun we talked about what we normally talk about when we are together things like life, college, relationships, fashion, all of that wrapped up into one big conversation.

Getting to the interesting part... THE FOOD.

Triple dipper

I promise... Shadei had about 10 Strawberry lemonades that night! I'm checking her into rehab... she was taking them down so fast that the waiter got smart and started bringing two at a time instead of refills. He certainly earned his tip that night. I must admit the waiter was on point.

Happy Birthday RJ

So... today on February 11, 2009 is my 18th birthday. This day has been highly anticipated for obvious reasons. Wow, time goes by super fast. If life was a car it would have to be a lamborghini incredible speed. It was just a couple of years ago I was extremely anxious to reach 16 years of age now that I am 18 you patiently wait on the 21st birthday. Today I was poured with love from friends and family. I am grateful to reach the age of 18, it is truly a blessing and I thank God. My best friend Shadei made this day exceptionally special with the huge card, doughnuts, money, and the watch she got me. I love her beyond measures! Well, this weekend I will go in celebration mode. I had plans to attend the NBA All-Star (which is in Phoenix this year) as I always do as a birthday present from my parents. I may go... but no matter where I will most certainly be in celebration mode. Another year and counting! Finally 18!

Happy 18th Birthday to my best friend DJ on February 10, 2009. I have been knowing this dude for years and we basically grew up together. This dude is my sidekick, my ace, we like Jordan and Pippen, Magic and Kareem, except for the fact that we dont have any championship rings. We talk about random stuff when we kick it and when we do kick it and just hang out its bananas. He a cool dude and I got nothing but brotherly love for him. Happy 18th Birthday bro, and I wish you many many more years of happiness and success. My birthday is tomorrow, so you already know the weekend is ours for the taking! Let's go!

M.I.A, Kanye West, Jay-Z, Weezy, and T.I. last night at the 51st Grammys all on the same stage at the same time. The Grammys overrall disappointed me but this single performance made up for it. Too much swagger on one stage! This was the best performance of the night no questions asked.

So... Chester French is like this indie/pop/hip-hop/rock American music group which consist of a guy named D.A. Wallach and a guy named Maxwell Drummey. They both attened college together at Harvard University. They decided to name their band after famous sculptor Daniel Chester French, and one of his key designs was the Lincoln Memorial. Anywho... they are signed to Star Trak Entertainment Label with Chad Hugo and Pharrell Williams. Chester French has some good music and good talent to back them up. Obviously... because their signed to Star Trak right? I mean Pharrell does have an ear for music!

Well unclog your ears and give these guys a listen!

Life

okay, so i've noticed that there are a lot of teenagers that are looking at the "big picture" instead of taking life a day at a time.
There are several who are throwing their lives away by making bad decisions, and there are some who just dont care. Many have also let "drugs" [mainly marijuana] take over their lives.
This seriously makes me mad, and i think its about time someone said something about it.

Attention:
it is possible to be "a somebody". we all are words to one big book that is entitled "life". making mistakes is all a part of life[we make present mistakes to avoid future mistakes]. but by mistakes i mean small things, like stealing that pack of gum....or skipping that day of school. Not shooting that guy, or getting that girl pregnant.
  • There are so many young TEENAGE mothers! I witness it myself! My high school has its fair share of pregnant students and when i look at that i wonder:
has society really fallen so low that our youth place sex on some sort of pedestal? teenagers are quicker to talk about sex than they are to engage in a educated conversation in class. they are more eager to skip school and engage in sexual activity than to go to school and recieve knowledge.
when i say this i am not at all talking down on the "youth" of America because i am a part of this group. i am just concerned about the next generation, and how the world may become once i am out there alone.
  • gun crimes are at an all-time high now! what has society come to? i have lost so many friends due to gun crimes and im sick of it[what hapened to the times when pple talked out there problems???] now its shoot now, ask questions later.
  • somehow marijuana has become an addictive drug! teenagers are lettin it take over there lives...i have seen many fall because of their so called "addiction to marijuana". REALITY CHECK: there is not one addictive chemical in it, so why are pple dropping out of school because of it???
TRUE LIFE: i smoked weed....i quit...and have a 4.8gpa
THERE IS ALWAYS A WAY TO OVERCOME OBSTACLES THAT SEEM TO HOLD YU BAKK!
  • there is also music that further embarrasses america's youth
ex: the "stanky leg"
wtf! can yu believe that ppl seriously dance to that???
there is also music that viciously disrespects the female group.
M.O.B-->"money over bitches???"
at a time women were worshiped but now we are put below money.
we dance to music that calls us bitches and hoes
and we wear clothes that make us look like sluts just for the attention. is this why there are so many young women being raped nowadays???
  • we disrespect our parents!
HONOR THY MOTHER AND FATHER!
its only the right thing to do.
remember!
yu only have one set of [biological] parents...cherish them while they are here with yu because there are alot of pple who have lost their parents and wud kill to be in yur shoes.
there are alot of other problems that are among the youth group of America but i just wanted to touch up on these...if yu have ever made any of these mistakes remeber that it is never too late to correct them. if yu have a baby, yu can still be succeful...yu can smoke marijuana and stay in school!...yu can attract guys w/o lookin like a complete prostitute! violence is N E V E R the answer!
  • your life is a play and yu are the writer....each day is a scene and each month is an act...if Act I was bad then make Act II better!

live yur life to the fullest and love your friends and family to death[in the end they are all that yu may have]
