So... there is this guy named Deandre Jackson also known by his stage name One Kind. I have been knowing him for years we go all the way back to junior high school and now he is doing his music thing. All friendship aside, he is very talented, intelligent with his flows, lyrical wordplay is on point, and his beats coincide with the lyrics. I can honestly say if he stays on his game and keep his passion for his music then he will go a long way. His music is different that is what sets him apart from the crowd.

Snow

So I woke up this morning to a little snow and ice on the ground. It looks nice so I decided to snap a couple scenary shots from my front yard and the last photo being from the side of my house which actually shows my neighbor's house. Residing in the south we are not as use to snow as most regions of Amercia but we get some every once in a while and when we do it is a must to snap a couple pictures!

So icey... literally!

Mom's Touch

[I love you mom] My mom cooked me up something this morning and it was delicious as always.

My mom goes hard in the kitchen but this is just a simple kitchen quickie, believe me she goes far beyond just breakfast. Anybody can cook breakfast, with the exception of myself. I can fix cereal if that counts?! Nahh, that probably does not count but whatever. Staying on college campus in the near future would suck without my mom, unless my bestest friend in the whole wide world Shadei could cook for me!

Kanye West's Louis Vuitton Women's Sneakers.

The mid cut shoe shoe features 100% grey suede while the low cut shoe features a purple suede.

If you noticed from the pictures above both shoes also feature a gold Kanye West bear mascot on the shoelaces.

I personally like them both.

McDonalds is not one of my favorite fastfoods restaurants but when I do go to McDonalds I normally get what is shown in the picture above. For the last couple of weeks I have been on the McDoubles from McDonalds. My friend told me about them and I decided to give them a try. They are pretty good and ever since then his suggestion has been a bad influence on my life.

I normally eat healthy meals. But I cut myself slack sometimes, you know every once in a while you have that designated day where you just basically obey your appetite and not your health.

Well, we can just say that today and the last couple of weeks were my designated obey your appetite days.

Good thing I have a high metabolism!

Mystery of Iniquity

Lauryn Hill has to be one of my all time favorite female R&B artist. She is extremely versatile, she brings that neo-soul, R&B, hip-hop, pop, and funk and just mix it all up into one big production of creativty. Lauryn Hill's music is timeless.

I have a lot of favorite songs from her, the woman goes HARDER than cement and steel. Her delivery, smooth vocals, and lyrical prowess is remarkable.

This song titled "Mystery of Iniquity" is my favorite lyrical content song by Lauryn Hill, she brings it in this song. This song is also on her MTV Unplugged No. 2.0 live album that she recorded back in July of 2001 in Times Square New York City. Listen to the words.

many people have been asking me what a swaggist is, and i think it is about time i filled everyone in on it.

first off...

[exactly who has swag]

you have to know exactly what swag is. Swag is like skin, we all have it. There is just the factor of how you present your swag[that determines it all]. nerds have nerd swag, gangsters have gangster swag, preps have preppy swag! and thats that! but all swag is not good swag.

step two....

[how to present it]

you gotta bring it! like Kanye west said go hard! the way you stand, smile, walk, comb yo hair, even the way you talk, all play roles in the way you present yo swag. Girls are gonna look at the guy that is a smooth talker before she looks at the one who stumbles over all his words[and the same goes for guys]. ATTENTION ALL GIRLS: the way you know you got stewpid mean swag is if you can wear a winter coat and still catch a guys eye[showin skin (all of the time) wont get you anything but a bad reputation]. also, KEEP YOUR HAIR COMBED!!! your hair is the first thing people see, healthy hair equals a better you! Boys: Dont wear your pants hanging to the ground! well groomed young men will get attention before any "thug" we wanna see y0ur face not your behind. a well dressed guy is a fully swagged one! lol

Andre 3000 is named one of GQ's Best New Designers in America. Andre 3000 new clothing line is called Bejamin Bixby. Andre 3000 has always been one of my favorite artist who is obviously one half of the group OutKast.

The new line by Andre 3000 is long overdue because he has always been in a fashionable lane of his own.

The Renaissance

The Renaissance is Q-Tip's second studio album and was released on Novememver 4th, 2008 under Universal Motown Records.

Even though this album came out last year I thought it was only right to bring it back to attention because I feel that some people may have slept on this album.

The melody, the rhythm, the rhyme, and the lyrical content is what makes this album alluring. This is the definition of real hip-hop.

With the exception of two tracks that were done by the late great J Dilla, Q-Tip produced most of the album. Q-Tip is extremely versatile I can't even come up with the slightest reason why his talent gets overlooked for the most part. A lot of people just don't know real music, huh? Yeah... that's it!

Ginuwine is scheduled to release his 7th studio album titled A Man's Thoughts in 2009. The album will feature production by Timbaland, Bryan Michael Cox, Oak, and Tank. The first single on the album is called "Last Chance" which is produced by Bryan Michael Cox.

Be on the look out for Ginuwine's album which is set to release in 2009. Honestly, he is one of my favorite R&B singers, his music goes HARD.

It was confirmed that Kanye West will be dropping his own line of Nike shoes called the Nike Air Yeezy in 2009. However, it has also been confirmed most recently that Kanye West will also be dropping his very own Louis Vuitton sneaker which is also reported to release in 2009. Kanye stated through his blog that this shoe is 1 of 6 designs that he did for Louis Vuitton sampled in white.

With 2009 rolling in I have a lot to look forward to. Graduating and completing grade school is going to be my highlight of 2009. Then the next task will be starting the new phase of my life by entering into college the fall of 2009.

Shadei wants me to attend the University of Memphis with her extremely bad. I just might we would have too much fun because we are a deadly combination! Like guns and bullets!

Wow, life don't wait up for nobody. Just years ago I was in elementary school now I'm stepping into the real world. It only gets better... 2009 I have a lot to look forward to. I'm going extra hard 99.9% won't do it's all or nothing. 2009 don't get any better new president in Barack Obama... both Shadei and I are graduating with honors from Ridgeway High School.

I would be selfish not to recognize God and my family without them nothing is possible but with them anything is possible!

God + family = endless possibilities!

Happy MLK (Martin Luther King, Jr.) Day - His 80th birthday to be exact. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. was a prominent activist in the civil rights movement. Laying down a foundation of human rights and civil rights so that one day African-Americans and any other race/ethnicity could also be granted the same rights in America as did Caucasians. His dedication to the movement was priceless, his ambition for change was unmatched, his tactics was fight fire with PEACE, his dream at the time back in Washington, D.C. was surreal, but the dream is ALIVE.
